Thank you to all the fans who sent us their awesome Vector Unit gaming memories for our contest last week!
We've said it before and we'll say it again -- we love our fans! We make games because we enjoy it, but a big part of our enjoyment comes from sharing our games with other people.
So thank you for sharing your stories with us! Here are some of our favorites!

I was playing Beach Buggy Blitz with my son, and shot a skull at him. Right at the same time it hit him, he let out a tremendous fart. The two made for a great laugh. - James, UK
One time when I was playing Riptide GP2 on my iPad, my dog was sitting on the couch beside me and jumped across my lap causing me to lose a very difficult race that I was about to win. The funny thing is, I was in the middle of my own amazing jump stunt when it happened. - Greg, USA
My favourite memory of this game is when I first brought the game over to my friend's house during a little social gathering. Two of my friends were fairly new to the game at the time, so they were no match for me and another friend who both played the game religiously. We were both dominating the races without fail while the other two were lagging behind. But neither of them wanted to give up; we were all having fun. After a few hours of this and a few drinks down us, suddenly an achievement popped, the "Humans Gooood" achievement for taking 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place and beating all of the bots. For once, instead of laughing at one another for losing, we all looked at each other and started celebrating and hugging each other like we had just won the lottery! It's something we still mention today when we see each other and always puts a smile on our faces. - Joseph, UK
I remember the first time I played Hydro Thunder Hurricane, smashing into walls constantly and consistently. Couldn't wait to unlock rad hazard and when I did, I couldn't see how anyone could drive that boat. Now I can't use any boat but that one. - JS, Canada
One day, I'm sitting on my couch playing Riptide GP2 on my V10. About 30 minutes later, I hear an echo of the theme music. My son (5) who had previously watched me play a race, grabbed his tablet, and when he returned, had the game downloaded and was asking "Dad, can we race now?" I was amazed at how he even found the game without my help, but even more amazed when I realized his customized vehicle looked better than mine! So thank you, Vector Unit, for the great game and bringing out the competitive side in my son. - Jamie, USA
I'm an actor. About this time last year I was rehearsing for a play. A few days before the show was to open, the director was having a meltdown because the curtain wasn't working during our very slow tech rehearsal and tensions were high. I happily played Beach Buggy Racing on my tablet in the dark while chaos was going around me; I even enjoyed some multiplayer with some other castmates that were waiting around with me thanks to your Bluetooth controller support. I'm thankful for the blissful time I had even though nearly everyone around me was going crazy. Thanks Vector Unit! - Derick, USA
I had bought Riptide GP2 when it first became available but it didn't work on my Galaxy S2. Instead of freaking out and demanding a refund, I waited "patiently" until I got a new phone. It was the first game I downloaded on my new phone and I was blown away. It's my FAVORITE game and I LOVED figuring out all the tricks. Now I have them mastered and no one else wants to play against me. Thank You. - Robb, USA
Once when I was playing Riptide GP2, I got stuck in the middle of the 8-shaped track. This happened I think when I was recording on Twitch too. I didn’t think it was possible since I tried doing this with the slowest boat, but fail. Then this happened when using a boat with 210+ power!
Another time was when I was racing a friend and we got the same time down to the millisecond!

There was this one time, I played Beach Buggy Racing and I chose the Lunar Rover with El Zipo. I used 3 Boosters and El Zipo's special ability all at once. I was speeding to the icy ramp and I went flying and OVER the finish line. Managed to capture it at a perfect timing. - Sam, UK
There was this one time I was playing Beach Buggy Racing and I was falling behind and one of the other racers hit me and knocked me to the side but instead of messing me up he knocked me onto a shortcut on the level and it took me up to 2nd place where I made my way to 1st to win it! - Mike, USA
I remember the day when I downloaded Beach Buggy Blitz. Unfortunately my smartphone wasn't powerful enough to play this game and I was quite disappointed, because I always wanted to play this game :/ Few months later I bought Nexus 7 tablet and I could finally play Beach Buggy Blitz on full graphics with beautiful Tegra effects :D I enjoyed the game so much, I even recorded a gameplay. - Pawel, Poland
