The newest update of Beach Buggy Racing 2 has some exciting new features for you: test your mettle with the all new Championships, track your progress with Stats, unlock new tracks faster, and more!
NEW: Championships
Open up your Profile (by clicking your player name in the upper left of the screen) and if you’re Level 6 or above you’ll see something new on your experience timeline: a shining golden trophy. This is the marker for a Championship, an exciting new event type in Beach Buggy Racing 2.
Championships are longer events with bigger prizes. You race 3 or 4 races in a row, and you earn a score at the end of each race — 1st place gets more points, 6th place gets less. At the end of the series, the top 3 racers receive trophies packed with gems, cards, and more; best of all, you unlock the trophy rewards right away, you don’t have to wait to open them!
Another important difference with Championships is that they use ALL of your found Powerups, not only the 8 in your Custom Deck. So be sure to collect and upgrade as many Powerups as you can, to maximize your finishing position.
NEW: Stats screen
Your Profile menu also got another big upgrade — you can now click the Stats tab to see information about the races you’ve won, the boost starts you’ve blown, and the penguins you’ve booted.
Note that many of these Stats only started tracking recently, so if you’re a long time player your stats won’t be fully accurate, but they’ll start to fill in.
